CLEMSON, S.C. – The 14th-seeded Clemson Women’s Basketball team (13-16, 6-12 ACC) will take on the 11th-seeded Stanford Cardinal (16-13, 8-10 ACC) in the first round of the 2025 Ally ACC Tournament on Wednesday, March 5 at 6:30 p.m. in Greensboro, N.C. 

The game will take place in First Horizon Center and will be broadcast on ACCN with Pam Ward and Stephanie White. The audio broadcast will stream via the ClemsonTigers App with William Qualkinbush and Faxon Childress on the broadcast. The winner of the game will move on to play the Louisville Cardinals at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. 

Clemson was victorious in their last meeting with Stanford, mounting a 65-61 win in overtime at home on Jan. 5. Clemson is shooting .342 from beyond the arc, which places them 68th nationally, and their 212 made 3FG place them third in Clemson Women’s Basketball history for three-point field goals made. They need three more to reach first place. Hannah Kohn is now second in school history for 3-pointers made in a season with 75, and she needs five more to reach first place. 

Loyal McQueen leads the Tigers in scoring and assists, averaging 13.5 points per game and 4.9 assists per game respectively. She has scored in double figures 21 times this season and has had 5+ assists 14 times.
