The new Vila Galé Hotel in the Historic Center of Elvas is completed, and was scheduled to open on February 22, which eventually resulted in a 'presentation', since at the last minute the project was prevented from having a license to use by barriers placed by the IP Cultural Heritage Institute, which are considered “incomprehensible” by the hotel group.

“This was an open trash, and you could not even get in here, we are talking about the heart of the historic center of Elvas. We have done so much to recover heritage in the interior, and instead of being mediated by the work we are doing, we are defamed and disguised by those who do nothing and should do, ”says Jorge Rebelo de Almeida, president of the Vila Galé group.
