The women's team Sport/CRAV was a winner of the Portugal Cup on March 1, by defeating Sporting, 31-15, in the final played at Sérgio Conceição Municipal Stadium in Coimbra.
After a first dominating part, Sport/CRAV went to the break with an advantage of 18-5. In the second half, it consolidated the superiority in the game, expanding the marker and ensuring the much desired 'double'. This victory comes just a month after the team won the National Honor Division Championship by beating Benfica 26-14 in the final.
This is the second trophy of the Portuguese Cup for the Sport CP joint team. and the Rugby Club of Arcos de Valdevez (CRAV), revalidating the title won in 2023, also against Sporting.
With this done, Sport/CRAV reinforces its position among the strongest teams of the Portuguese women's rugby, ending the time with a double historical title
