The revision of the company agreement, signed between FESAHT (Federation of Agriculture, Food, Beverages, Hospitality and Tourism of Portugal) and the company Newrail – Restoration and Services, Lda, ensures, according to the union, “important achievements”, such as the salary increase of 170 euros for all professional categories, minimum wage in the company of 1000 euros to 35 hours for 35 hours for all workers, among others.
FESAHT considers that this agreement “demonstrates that there are conditions to value workers, ensuring better wages, fairer working conditions and recognition of the effort of all those who daily ensure the service on board the CP long trains”. On the other hand, it stresses that the agreement is 'the result of the unity and strength of the workers organized in the workplace'.
