[Trending News] Rock legend’s scary fall during show leaves fans concerned

Legendary rocker Billy Joel is 75-years-old now, so when fans saw him go down during a recent show — and he went down hard — they were understandably disturbed.

According to Parade Magazine, the incident happened during Joel’s Feb. 22 concert at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut. Video of the incident shared by The U.S. Sun shows Joel twirling a mic stand in his hands before tossing it away. That – throwing the stand – put him off balance and he quickly, and stiffly, fell backward onto the stage.

A fan who was at the show told The U.S. Sun that Joel “looked frail hobbling across the stage,” before he fell.

“At one point, he was using the microphone stand as a cane,” one fan told the site. “I was really very concerned about him throughout the concert.

“Before he fell, I said to my friend, ‘He’s going to fall,’ and then he did,” the fan added.

Parade noted that Joel postponed a show at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida back in January to have a “medical procedure” done.

Joel has yet to comment on the fall.
