Ponte 25 de Abril will be cut to traffic due to half marathon
The race, considered one of the fastest in the world, will lead thousands of athletes to cross the board running and walking.

The athletes will replace the cars. The 34th EDP Half Marathon of Lisbon, a race that leads thousands of people crossing the 25 de Abril Bridge board, which connects Lisbon to Almada, will lead to the traffic cut on the bridge during the morning of next Sunday, March 9, the City Hall of Almada said.
Traffic on Pragal's viaduct will be interrupted between 6:30 am and 12 hours, while the board will be closed from 8:15 am. The reopening is scheduled for 1 pm.
Alternatively, conductors should use the Vasco da Gama Bridge. The rail service will not be interrupted, but dUse in the morning, there will also be the following conditional accesses: Avenida José Cardoso Pires, starting in the roundabout after the Piaget Institute, to the roundabout of the hospital; Beginning of the roundabout from Rua Right to Ponte do Pagal towards the hospital; and intersection of the Rua dos Três Vales with Avenida Torrado da Silva.
The test is one of the fastest marathons in the world. The 21 -kilometer route, which begins at the 25 de April Bridge and ends at the Jeronimos Monastery, is part of the well -known Superhalfs. The International Circuit adds five of the best marathons in the world – the other four are Cardiff (in Wales), Copenhagen (in Denmark), Prague (in the Czech Republic) and Valencia (in Spain) – that stand out for offering unique experiences as stunning as challenging. In the last edition, about 30,000 athletes participated and crossed the bridge of 25 de April.
