Malaga musician Pablo Alborán will be awarded with the Andalusian Medal of the Arts. The president of the Board, Juanma Moreno, has advanced it this Sunday night, when he also announced that Alborán will be in charge of singing the anthem of Andalusia during the gala that will be held at the Sevillian Teatro de la Maestranza on February 28 .

In that act, the favorite son of Andalusia will be appointed to the Sevillian footballer Jesús Navas, who retired this year after a prolonged career in which he obtained, among other trophies, the 2010 World Cup with the Spanish team.

The doctor in computer linguistics and specialist in artificial intelligence Pilar Manchón will also be designated.

The Junta de Andalucía will report the rest of the decorations after the Governing Council on Monday.
