Karl Cochran, the guitarist who regularly collaborated with the Kiss, died on a week in a road accident in New Jersey. The musician was 61 years old.
According to Mycentraljersey, quoted by NME magazine, the guitarist was in the car, driven by his mother, Arna, 90. The car will have stuffed a tree and Karl Cochran was projected out of the vehicle.
The musician was also assisted at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, but could not resist serious injuries.
On social networks, the Kiss recalled their colleague and friend, who was involved in the creation of the theme “Into The Void”, from the album “Psycho Circus”. “Our dear friend Karl Cochran died in a road accident on February 19th. Karl was an extraordinary singer and guitarist who suffered a massive stroke, but never stopped fighting to return,” the musicians wrote.
“It was worshiped by fans around the world and a constant inspiration as a guest in the Kiss Kruises [cruzeiro oficial da banda]. Our deep condolences to Geri and his family, “the band added.
