Guerrero's death was confirmed on Sunday, February 23, on his official Instagram page.
His family remembered the professional as “the brightest light” and wrote, “We have never doubted how he touched the hearts and lives of all he has known.”
“We fell into tears repeatedly remembering and asking us what we might have done differently to have us yet,” reads in shared history.

In another Instagram story shared in Guerrero's account could still read: “I don't know how the world will follow without its light, but I know that it will give us strength to overcome any obstacle.”

A Gofundme page, which seems to have been organized by Guerrero's sister, did not confirm the cause of death, but stressed that “his death occurred very suddenly and unexpectedly.”
