[Trending News] Changes to Wednesday school schedules as snow falls across Maryland

(WBFF) — With snow coming down in Maryland, schools are announcing changes to their operating procedures for Wednesday, February 12.

The following schools will be closed on Wednesday:

• Baltimore City Public Schools
• Charles County Public Schools
• Howard County Public Schools
• Huber Child Development Center
• Montgomery County Public Schools
• Prince George’s County Public Schools
• Queen Anne’s County Public Schools
• St. Mary’s County Public Schools

These schools have not announced closures, but will be delayed and/or operating virtually:

• Anne Arundel County Public Schools – virtual learning
• Baltimore County Public Schools – 2-hour delay, virtual learning
• Carroll County Public Schools – 2-hour delay
• Garrison Forest School – opening at 10 a.m.
• Garrett County Public Schools – virtual learning
• Gerstell Academy – 2-hour delay
• Harford County Public Schools – 2-hour delay
• Harford Day School – 2-hour delay
• H.O.P.E Academy – virtual learning
• Irvine Nature Center – opening at 11 a.m.
• North Carroll Community School – 2-hour delay
• Talbot County Public Schools – virtual learning
• Washington County Public Schools – 2-hour delay
• Wicomico County Public Schools – virtual learning

Colleges and universities with schedule changes include:

• Bowie State University – virtual learning
• Coppin State University – opening at 10 a.m. Essential employees should report as normally scheduled
• Harford Community College – opening at 12 p.m.
• Howard Community College – closed
• Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) – closed
• Morgan State University – opening at 10 a.m.
• Salisbury University – 2-hour delay. Offices will open at 10 a.m.
• Towson University – opening at 10 a.m.
• Towson University Northeast Campus (TUNE) – opening at 12 p.m.
• University of Maryland, College Park – closed

Other schedule adjustments:

• Aberdeen Proving Ground – opening at 11 a.m.
• Anne Arundel County Circuit Court – closed
• Anne Arundel County Public Libraries – closed
• Anne Arundel County Senior Activity Centers – closed
• Baltimore City Circuit Court – closed
• Baltimore City Government – 2-hour delay
• Baltimore County Circuit Court – closed
• Baltimore County Public Library – opening at 11 a.m.
• Fort Meade – closed, liberal leave
• Howard County Government – opening at 10 a.m., liberal leave all day
• Maryland State Government – liberal leave from 6-10 a.m., teleworkers and essential employees as normally scheduled
• Prince George’s County Government – closed
