A collision between two slight vehicles to kilometer 294 of Self-Emersed 1 (A1), in the south-north direction, resulted this dawn in one dead and two injured, according to civil protection information.
The warning for the accident was given at 4:27 am, mobilizing emergency teams to the site. According to the subregional command of the Porto Metropolitan Area, one of the injured was transported to the hospital, while the other was in the phase of release at the time of the arrival of the means of relief.
On site there were operational volunteer firefighters from the Carvalhos, the Gaia Firefighters Battalion and INEM teams, totaling 16 elements supported by six vehicles.
Despite the severity of the accident, circulation in A1 was not interrupted, although it remains partially conditioned. Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the collision.
