Tharman Shanmugaratnam là ai?
Tharman Shanmugaratnam, sinh ngày 25 tháng 2 năm 1957, là một chính khách và nhà kinh tế học nổi bật người Singapore. Ông được bầu làm Tổng thống Singapore thứ chín vào ngày 2 tháng 9 năm 2023, đánh dấu một bước ngoặt quan trọng trong sự nghiệp chính trị của mình. Trước khi đảm nhận vị trí Tổng thống, ông đã từng giữ nhiều chức vụ quan trọng trong nội các, bao gồm Bộ trưởng cấp cao và Phó Thủ tướng.
Tharman là con trai của giáo sư danh dự Kanagaratnam Shanmugaratnam, và trong suốt cuộc đời mình, ông đã đóng góp đáng kể vào sự phát triển kinh tế xã hội của Singapore.
