The number of Portuguese tourists who visited Poland by 2024 increased 5.5% compared to 2019, according to final data released by the Poland Central Statistics Office.
To continue to reinforce this trend, Poland tourism will be present at BTL – Better Tourism Lisbon Travel Market, which takes place from March 12 to 16, 2025, at Fil – Parque das Nações, Lisbon.
During this event, Poland will have a stand in Pavilion 4 (4a31), in which it will present the country's news and tourist attractions, including new aerial connections and a diversified offer adapted to new travel trends. In addition, will be present at the Stand Lot Polish Airlines and the region of Krakow, both with “exclusive information” about their offers and new products.
One of the big news this year is the new direct air connection between Lisbon and Warsaw, operated by Lot Polish Airlines. From March 30, 2025, the route will be served daily, with hours conveniently adapted to facilitate trips in both winter and summer.
“It is with great enthusiasm that we participate again at BTL, an essential event to reinforce our presence in Portugal. Poland has much to offer Portuguese tourists from its rich cultural heritage to the most contemporary options, such as gastronomic and sustainable tourism. We are confident that the new air connection between Lisbon and Warsaw, along with our increasingly sought after destinations by those looking for sustainable tourism and authentic experiences, will continue to attract more Portuguese tourists, ”says Agata Witoslawska, Director of Tourism from Poland to Spain and Portugal.
