[Trending News] New Vila Galé de Elvas has everything to open less authorization

Project was presented last weekend and was scheduled to open this month, but has no permission from the cultural heritage. “It was an open trash,” says Vila Galé CEO Jorge Rebelo de Almeida.

The Vila Galé Group presented its second unit last Saturday in Elvas, the 'Casas d'elvas Historic Hotel', but despite being ready to receive tourists, the project is not allowed to open by the IP cultural heritage

At the press conference, Vila Galé administrator Gonçalo Rebelo de Almeida stressed that the group was not formally informed of any problem with this project and expects cultural heritage to give an opinion to the municipality. “We have no date to open because it doesn't depend on us,” he said.

This new unit arises through the rehabilitation of the houses of a former plum factory, the former ecclesiastical aljube ecclesiagers and the former seventeenth-century war council, which assumes Vila Galé CEO, Jorge Rebelo de Almeida, “was a trash in the open. ”

“We were the only competitor who presented a proposal to the Chamber. We are aware that we have done a service here for the country, ”he said, lamenting that the hotel group continues to be criticized for recovering historical heritage from north to south of the country.

“We were defamed because we were told that we were destroying the wall. We have been waiting for a construction license for the hotel in Miranda do Douro for two and a half years. The country needs to recover its historical heritage that is economically viable and that you pay this investment and its conservation and give it some functional utility, ”he said.

At this moment Vila Galé has 12 projects in progress, between Portugal, Brazil and Cuba and 18 recovered historical buildings.
