[Trending News] No. 7 Oregon State baseball vs. Minnesota: Preview, starting lineup, how to watch

The No. 7 Oregon State Beavers play the Minnesota Golden Gophers Sunday in a college baseball matchup at Dell Diamond in Round Rock, Texas.

The first pitch is scheduled for 10 a.m.

It’s the Beavers’ finale in the Round Rock Classic, a three-team round robin event that also includes No. 2 Virginia and Oklahoma.

After opening with a statement win over the Cavaliers, Oregon State was humbled by the Sooners, so it needs a win on Sunday to salvage the weekend.

OSU left-hander Ethan Kleinschmit, a 6-foot-3 transfer from Linn-Benton Community College, is making his second career start for the Beavers. His debut was memorable — Kleinschmit threw six no-hit innings in a win over Indiana.

Minnesota’s starter will be a familiar name for Beavers fans: Justin Thorsteinson. The 6-4 left-hander pitched in 19 games with OSU from 2021-23, making four starts and finishing with a 1-0 record.
