KISS guitarist dies in a road accident at 61
Karl Cochran was taken to the hospital, but did not survive the injuries. The band has already regretted the loss.
Guitarist Karl Cochran, one of the members of the rock band Kiss, died last Wednesday, February 19, in a travel accident in Bridgewater, New Jersey (USA). Although he was still taken to the hospital, the 61 -year -old could not resist his injuries.
The musician was in the place of Pendura when the car hit a tree, police department Bridgewater Township revealed. The 90 -year -old mother, Ana Chocran, went behind the wheel of the car and survived.
“I was marching back and shocked a tree,” the US press reported. The guitarist was shot out of the vehicle due to the violence of the clash, before losing his life at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, where he had been taken by helicopter.
“Karl was an extraordinary vocalist and guitarist who suffered a serious stroke, but never failed to fight for life,” reads in a statement shared by the Kiss on social network X (former Twitter). “He was loved by our fans from around the world thanks to his appearances and it was a constant inspiration as our guest at Kiss Kruises.”
