[Trending News] Complaints against meo, nos and vodafone increase after Digi entry into the market

Digi's entry into the telecommunications market has triggered customers' complaints, the newspaper de Notícias advances, which quotes data from Anacom.

According to the newspaper, terminating the contract or changing operator without changing the number of mobile phone are the main complaints.

Anacom has recorded an increase (535%) of complaints directed to other operators, such as MEO, Nos or Vodafone, on number portability. Complaints related to the cancellation of services rose 77%.

Digi receives nine complaints a day, having been presented to the regulator and 644 in the books of physical and electronic complaints.

The numbers also reflect that there are more complaints by “service failures”, about the “initial connection of services or installation”, the “cancellation of services” and the “customer service”.
