WWE NXT RESULTS AND LIVE BLOG FOR FEB. 11

Those dreams are made of glass, you throw just one stone and then there goes your last window. Can’t you tell that every wish that you made filled up the well, and now I’m here to liveblog this pro wrestling show for you, folks?

The show opens with the usual montage of talent arriving at the arena.

Bayley vs. Cora Jade

Right in the action, mounted punches from Bayley set up a few forearms as Jade scrambles away and makes it to the floor. Role Model out after her, bouncing her face off the barricade, big overhand chops, she picks up Cora’s kendo stick but thinks better of it and the action goes in before it comes right back out.

Corner turnbuckle dropkick gets Bayley back in control, bouncing Jade’s face off the announce desk and throwing her back inside, cover for two! A little back and forth, a knee to the face sends Cora back out to the floor and the Role Model dives on her, fired up! Jade rams her spine into the apron for her trouble and we go to break!

Back from commercial, Bayley with the Stunner over the middle rope, Bayley-to-Belly connects… SO CLOSE! Rana pin from Jade gets a nearfall, double stomp in the corner, Karelin lift… NOPE! Bayley goes up top, her old music plays for the distraction and Roxanne Perez comes down dressed like side pony tube men Bayley!

Bayley drops the elbow asnd goes to confront Roxanne, Cora follows out after and pulls her over for a DDT, second DDT in the ring…

Cora Jade wins by pinfall with the DDT.

We see Ava Raine whisper something in Giulia’s ear backstage.

Ava comes to the stage to congratulate Cora for her biggest win so far and adds her to the title match at NXT Vengeance Day this Saturday.

Bayley recovers and shoves Perez into Jade before dropping Roxanne with a Bayley-to-Belly!

Backstage, Sol Ruca talks with Zaria and wants to take her to the beach.

Nikkita Lyons has a snide comment and tries to say one victory doesn’t a team make and suggests Zaria is being held back by Sol but Zaria isn’t having it and they end up making a match for later tonight.

We see Oba Femi walking backstage and we go to break.

Back from commercial we see Ridge Holland warming up for his match tonight.

Oba Femi makes his entrance and gets on the mic.

He talks about his title defense against Austin Theory and Grayson Waller on Saturday and is real about it, it’s a handicap match of him fighting A-Town Down Under. They think they’re gonna gang up and get rid of The Ruler, and then what? Their egos will be their greatest downfall, and when it’s all said and done, it’s every man for himself.

Enter A-Town Down Under.

Austin Theory gets on the mic and makes the case for Grayson Waller being the backbone of modern NXT and says Waller’s gonna help him win the title. Grayson makes the case for Austin but damns him with faint praise and says he’s gonna ride shotgun with the new NXT Champion. Oba points out that they just said they’re both going to be NXT Champion.

Waller ignores that and makes the case for how much the title means and what he’s willing to do to hold it. Theory talks about his United States Championship and Grayson cuts him off to say he’s gonna bring up beating John Cena and everybody knows. Waller talks about being the guy to retrieve the tag titles and claims Austin should be thanking him for saving his career.

Things break down between A-Town Down Under, a shoving match breaks out, Waller ends up attacking Oba and they get back on the same page and wallop Oba! Fireman’s carry from Austin and he hits A-Town Down to set up Grayson with the Rolling Thunder Stunner to leave the champion laying!

Eddy Thorpe gets a video package where he talks about trying to do the right thing and getting disregarded and screwed over and now vengeance is all that he seeks and he’ll leave his mark one way or the other.

Hank and Tank make their entrance and we go to break.

Back from commercial, we get a recap of the various abuses that “All Ego” Ethan Page has subjected Je’Von Evans to and we get a promo from a doctor clearing Evans for the match on Saturday.

Je’Von is in Ava Raine’s office and shrugs off her concerns about what the doctor said about him being at risk for permanent injury. But he insists that he’s cleared and he wants to go. Ava passes him a waiver ensuring WWE will not be held liable for anything that happens to him and begs him to take his time and think about it.

He takes about five seconds and signs it.

Hank and Tank (Hank Walker & Tank Ledger) vs. Josh Briggs & Yoshiki Inamura vs. No Quarter Catch Crew (Myles Borne & Tavion Heights)

Feeling out, Inamura and Walker, Heights tags in, assisted gutbuster with a tag to Borne, and Myles follows it with a Karelin lift! Uppercuts, leapfrogging right into an electric chair but Hank counters by dropping him into the ropes! Tag to Ledger, Yoshiki tags back in and lights both of ‘em up with strikes! Briggs in, Tavion tags in on him, Tank tags out, assisted seated senton!

Hank and Tank fired up but Inamura and Borne pull them out on opposite sides and Josh dives onto Myles! Hank and Tank freight train Borne, Walker back inside, Heights with a huge belly-to-belly suplex on him while Fraxiom watch from the balcony and we go to break!

Back from commercial, Inamura in and he lights Borne up with lariats and a revolution bodyslam! Tag to Briggs, dropping Heights with a sidewalk slam, Borne with a dropkick on the button, match breaking down, quick tags on your lefts and your rights, everybody breaks a cover up!

Hank and Tavion brawling, Briggs with a blind tag and boots for both guys, dropkick sends Heights out, another boot wipes Walker out! Goozle… CHOKESLAM LIFT DROPPED INTO A POWERBOMB BUT HEIGHTS PULLS HIM OFF THE PIN! Action to the floor, Hank goes high rent and dives into the crush!

Taking Josh back inside, wheelbarrow mat slam… SO CLOSE! Hank goes up top, dives, nobody home, Inamura legal, Briggs with a huge lariat, Yoshiki gets a head of steam bouncing on the top rope…

Josh Briggs & Yoshiki Inamura win by pinfall with a diving splasy from Inamura on Hank Walker.

Post-match, Fraxiom congratulate Briggs and Inamura on their win and confirm that they’ve got the tag title match they asked for and they’ll see them at Vengeance Day!

And so we go to break.

Back from commercial we’re backstage with the D’Angelo Family.

Stacks apologizes for the way he’s been lately and says the pressure has got to him. Tony D’Angelo says he’s got a cage match and that means he has to go it alone and he’s good, just forget about it.

JDC vs. Lexis King (c) (NXT Heritage Cup)

Curtis with an arm drag, King comes back with a waistlock takedown, rolling him through to a front chancery, arm wringer, Johnny counters with one of his own into an arm drag! Backslide attempt gets a knee from the champ! Lexis takes a breather, JDC cuts him off, to the floor, plancha wipes him out and Curtis poses with the cup to send us to break!

Back from commercial, King taking JDC into the corner for chops, whip across, big back elbow from Curtis but he sidesteps the dive and looks for an Achilles Lock. Johnny fights out, chops, whip reversed, roll-through into the half crab! King drags him into the middle of the ring, kicks, falling elbow to the back of the head!

Off the ropes, elbow to JDC’s kidneys, side Russian legsweep connects! Falcon Arrow, Curtis does the deal but it’s not enough! Off the top, diving leg drop… LEXIS KICKS OUT! King hangs him off the top turnbuckle…

Lexis King wins by pinfall with Coronation hung off the top turnbuckle, retaining the NXT Heritage Cup.

Bayley and Roxanne Perez bicker in Ava Raine’s office, Perez claiming she’s gonna win on Saturday.

Cora Jade rolls up, she says she’s gonna win because after all Roxanne said it was her turn now right?

She leaves and Perez mutters gloweringly about the whole exchange.

Nikkita Lyons makes her entrance and we go to break.

Back from commercial, Kelani Jordan rolls up on Fatal Influence and demands a title shot if Fallon Henley is still champion after Saturday.

They say she’s already had her rematch, she claims Henley hasn’t met this version of her.

Jaida Parker rolls up to disagree and make her case, and Ashante “Thee” Adonis appears to point out that Karmen Petrovic has wins over both of them so if anybody has the next shot it should be her.

Henley seizes that moment and tells them to figure it out amongst themselves and she walks on through.

Nikkita Lyons vs. Zaria

Zaria hot out the gates, a pair of lariats and a big boot, looking for a German suplex, Lyons blocks and hits a German suplex of her own! Jumping up top, Zaria cuts her off and gets under her for a powerbomb … NIKKITA COUNTERS WITH A FRANKENSTEINER! Zaria ducks under a kick and hits a German suplex and both women are down!

Dragging themselves up the ropes, turning to face each other and charging in, bouncing off of each other with lariats, Lyons with a superkick for two! Taking Zaria’s back, Camel Clutch applied, Zaria fights out of it but bounces off of Nikkita’s hip! She rolls out from under the Vader Bomb and charges in with a spear!

Drawing Lyons up, fireman’s carry…

Zaria wins by pinfall with the F-5.

We get a promo from “All Ego” Ethan Page.

He’s not surprised Je’Von Evans got cleared because he leads with his heart and not his head. He’s got a long career ahead of him, title reigns, maybe even the face of WWE, but he can’t help himself and he’s willing to risk it all just to get his hands on All Ego. Million dollar smile, ten cent brain.

He says what’s about to happen to Evans is not his fault, because there’s a giant bullseye on his jaw and this time he’s gonna shatter it.

And on that note, we go to break.

Back from commercial, Trick Williams is interviewed on the balcony.

He accepts Eddy Thorpe’s challenge for a strap match at Vengeance Day and says he’s gonna have to look him in the eye man-to-man and then he’s gonna whoop that ass.

“ABSOLUTE” RICKY STARKS IS HERE IN THE CROWD AND HE’S GOT A MICROPHONE!

“Ricky Starks!” chants go up and he says it’s obvious people know who he is and NXT is the future of wrestling and he is the superstar of the future. This is the hottest brand and he’s the hottest free agent, baby! Don’t let the handsome face and the fragrance fool you, he’s here to turn this place upside down.

When will the revolution be televised? Well he’s here, ain’t he?

Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer wish each other luck at Vengeance Day backstage and Ridge Holland walks past on his way to the main event.

We see the D’Angelo Family walking backstage to send us to break.

Back from commercial, Andre Chase runs into his number one fan Kale Dixon again.

Kale pulls Uriah Connors over to meet Andre and they want to go out and party with him but he begs off saying he can’t go out on a school night. They remind him that he said he’s done with Chase U and he says they’re right, old habits die hard, and he walks off.

We get a recap of “Absolute” Ricky Starks showing up which is great because I need to run and get my soda out of the freezer before the main starts.

Ridge Holland vs. Tony D’Angelo (c) (NXT North American Championship Steel Cage Match)

Holland trying to grind D’Angelo into the cage wall, Tony defends himself and backs Ridge into the corner with punches. Body blows in the middle of the ring, Holland gets away and throws a big uppercut to stagger the champion! Right hands from the Don, whip to the corner, following it up with a lariat!

Ridge regains the momentum and we go to break!

Back from commercial, Holland grinding in a headlock, Stunner to counter, but Ridge is right back on the Don with mounted punches! D’Angelo back on his feet, shoving Holland into the steel over and over again, belly-to-belly suplexes follow! Pump kick and a northern lights bomb from Ridge… SO CLOSE!

Tony slams him, off the ropes, spear… RIDGE KICKS OUT! Izzi Dame is at ringside and she tries to slide the crowbar in the ring but Stacks cuts her off! She talks him into sliding it in the ring and Holland and D’Angelo get hands on it at the same time! Ridge wins the fight and spikes Tony wtih the crowbar!

Fired up, charging in, crowbar-assisted lariat… THE DON KICKS OUT! Tony whacks him with the crowbar and gets him up…

Tony D’Angelo wins by pinfall with a spinebuster, retaining the NXT North American Championship.

Shawn Spears, Niko Vance, and Brooks Jensen arrive at ringside and Tony stands up ready to stand firm against them… AND IZZI DAME KNEECAPS HIM WITH THE CROWBAR! SHE SLAMS ADRIANNA RIZZO AND STANDS BY WHILE VANCE AND JENSEN PUT BOOTS TO THE DON! Spears smashes him with the chair a bunch!

We’re short on time so we get a hype reel for Vengeance Day.

We get a cut-in from the new stable and see four distinctive skull masks.

That’s the show, folks.
